CatDog

These pictures are all awful and blurry, my deepest apologies. It was raining and I wanted to have some fun in it and I couldn't waste any time to change. I am a bit risky with my camera, I put it in the most grave danger at times. This outfit isn't one of my absolute favorites but I still like it a lot because it's girly. My neon green textured skirt is very comfortable and I love the way I feel when I wear it, it's very fun. Pairing a skirt like this with a plain shirt is perfect because it brings all of the attention to the skirt, too much color or pattern is never good. I like to make one item of an outfit stand out the most. Although I am not wearing any shoes with this outfit I think cute black wedges would look great if you want a more girly feel or white or black converse, high top or low rise. A casual pair of vans would always go very well with the outfit too.

sticky summer nights

So before I start, I just want to say that half of these pictures are of the worst quality but I added them in anyway because I really couldn't care less. This outfit is completely Miley Cyrus inspired, she wears outfits like this all the time, along with her hair. I love her style because you don't have to try very hard but you still look hot. I really love this outfit because it's surprisingly comfortable and I don't get too hot while wearing it. Plus, it's pretty cute too. I titled this post "sticky summer nights" because it has been insanely humid and sticky out lately, but the after dark temperatures are perfect. I really like this outfit because I can wear it on the most humid day, or a warm summer night with a little breeze and not be too hot or cold. The top I am wearing is just a plain black bandeau, I know everyone says not to wear tight things when it's super hot out but I don't get super hot in this top surprisingly. It's more of a cooler outfit, temperature wise, because the top is short and strapless. I like how it shows part of my mid drift, not in a bad way, but because the outfit isn't as suffocating so I can get some cool air on a hot day, and because it looks cute that way. I don't want to wear anything tucked into high waisted shorts on a hot summer day because it gets to be too hot and heavy, that's why I prefer crop tops in the summer. The shorts I am wearing aren't skin tight but they are snug around my stomach so they stay up on me. In fact, they are quite loose on my which is perfect for a humid day because then your thighs don't stick to your shorts when you sit down or have to go to the bathroom, you know what I mean. It also lets in more air, not in a weird way or anything. I wore my hair up because I feel most comfortable with it up and having a thick head of hair can be a pain in humid weather, I just like to do a high bun on the top of my head because it's cute and I don't get hot.

"cute little ruffles"

SO MANY PICTURES LOL. Sorry I have so many pictures but I just had so much fun taking them and I couldn't choose which ones to put on so I put like them all on oops. It's finally summer which means time to shave our legs and wear cute little ruffles shorts, excuse that pun. It has finally gotten warm and humid so it's loose clothes and beach wave hair time. There is no time to do hair and make up in the summer, but there's always time to put together a cute outfit. I love to wear loose clothes in the summer because I don't get super hot and they are much more comfortable, but wearing something flattering and tight every so often can't hurt. Why I say loose, I don't mean track shorts and a baggy t shirt. I could live in those if I wanted but I feel more confident in stuff that is cute. The shorts that I am wearing above feel like PJ shorts and I'm obsessed with them. I think they are so cute and I'm obsessed with floral and ruffles. I paired it with a basic baggy and light tank with ruffles at the top and on the straps to match the shorts. I could sleep in this outfit because of how comfy and breezy it is but why would I want to sleep in something so cute? I was so skeptical when I bought these shorts because I was wondering if I was really going to wear them. They are from Brandy Melville, and all of their clothes are one size fits all. They base all of their clothes to fit super skinny girls. I tried these on multiple times on multiple days before I actually bought them. I wasn't going to buy them because they were very small on me and I obviously wasn't one of the skinniest girls to wear them. I was very upset for a while because I had been wanting them for ages but I didn't want to buy them because I wasn't "model size" for them and they didn't look as good. I finally gave in and bought them because you know what? Why should I care how they base their clothes to the size of a girl? I loved them so I bought them. I don't care if I'm not skinny enough to wear them I am going to rock them and feel confident about myself in them because they are now my favorite shorts and I couldn't be happier that I bought them. Sorry for the rant oops.

Long Time, No Talk

It has been so long I don't even remember what day this outfit was from, Friday maybe? I am so sorry for my lack of posting I have had more homework lately and I have been just plain lazy. These clothing items aren't from the cheapest of stores, but I did tend to get them all at lower prices than normal. GO THROUGH SALE RACKS. They are live savers. They don't always have sweaters in the summer and bikinis in the winter. I found both my cardigan and top on sale. I got the jeans during the time of a store sale. You definitely have to spend time at stores and dig for things, taking the time is definitely worth it. I need to work on where I take my pictures because my deck background is awful. Since summer is coming up I will definitely be posting on this blog more often, love you all xx - Sarah

"hold you tight straight through the daylight"

so many pictures oops but this was my outfit for Friday. The dress was more Ariana Grande inspired while the army jacket, combat boots, and bright red lips were completely Andrea Russett inspired. I even bought the exact same lipstick as Andrea hehe. I really love this out because I don't always feel like a sweet dressy person. Sometimes I want to be a bit edgy so I added the army jacket and tied it. The comments I got at school like "When were you drafted for the army?" "Shouldn't you be in war right now?" "Oh, how's the army?" "Why are you wearing red lipstick..." "Did you soak your lips in red paint or something cause normal people at school don't have lips the color like that." thank you so much for all of those wonderful comments especially that one guy in my TV pro class you know who you are. For everyone who says rude comments to me, I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU SAY. It's my life and I'm going to live it how I want. I'm going to be famous one day and I'll be the one flicking you off through the TV screen when I'm accepting my awards while you're sitting your fat tush on the couch watching me live my dreams.

For Jessie

Turquoise Crop Top: Heartbreaker
Hi Lo Floral Skirt: Target
White Sandals: Heartbreaker
White Bow: Michael's Arts and Crafts store

FOR JESSIE MENG. Picasa wasn't working today for some odd reason so I couldn't crop the photo, sorry. The crop top and bow with the half-up hair look are inspired by the one and only Ariana Grande. The skirt is definitely more of an Andrea Russett piece of clothing though. It's perfect for spring :)

Sweet Disposition

Peach Crop Top: Heartbreaker
Black Floral Lace Skirt: Forever 21
Black Combat Boots: Target

My outfit today was more of an Acacia Brinley-Clark inspired video. I don't really like Acacia as a person because she is just plain annoying and self-centered but I do love her wardrobe. The combat boots are definitely her and Andrea Russett, whom I absolutely love. The shirt is a bit of Ariana Grande because of the bow in the front but the skirt is definitely Acacia.
